Sometimes, being a student is not about studying in the class and do your homeworks given by the teachers. Being a student, somehow let me face so many new things and feelings. The difficult part is, when you have ti handle your feelings about something that is new for you.
As a student, sometimes I will feel tensed. People say a little tension is good for us so we can push ourselves in doing something. This stress feeling usually occured when I think too much about everything. There are a few times where students like me have to think so many things like finishing our homeworks in time, finding time to actually do a bit revision on topics that we do not understand, should or should not we join any activities at school and more. This feeling will be worst if there are any people that keep pushing and forcing us in doing things.
If you are a student who stays in the hostel, things will get more interesting. Students who are living in the hostel have to cope with other activities such as the hostel rules and regulations, self-management and many hostel activities. Being a teenager, following the rules seems to hard to do. There are a few times where the rebel side of me will take control. The self-management consist of washing your dirty clothes all by yourself. Somehow, as a student, I have to and must be disciplined and more independent or your life will turn upside down.
Got to see new things and made new friends are are part of my life as a student. In our life, people will always come and go. There is nobody who will stay by your side faithfully. I had faced the feeling of losing a best friend when she transferred to another school. Losing a friend is hurt, for you had known her for a long time and she understands you for who you are and she is okay with that. Fortunately, as a replacement, you will get more new friends to be added on your friend list.
Me, being a student, taught myself how to manage time properly. When you have to deal with so many additional-classes and tons of homeworks plus your self-management at the hostel, somehow you actually can manage your time. It taught me about the priorities and the needs that revolve in my daily life. Sometimes you will feel that you are running out of time when you are trying to finish your homeworks. At the end, time management really does help a lot.2
